My Story

This summer, in collaboration with Wild in Art, Heart of Kent Hospice will be bringing a new temporary tourist attraction to Maidstone. From 19 June - 22 August 2021, up to 50 large and 31 small Elmer sculptures will create a walking trail around Maidstone.  The trail will create fantastic days out for families, reinvigorate civic pride into our County town and help to raise awareness of how Heart of Kent Hospice supports the local community.

Heart of Kent Hospice is celebrating its 30th anniversary of providing outstanding care to the local community. Since its doors opened in 1991, the Hospice has supported over 50,000 people – patients, carers and their families.

We are delighted to be supporting both Heart of Kent Hospice and Elmer's Big Heart of Kent Parade by becoming a Friend of Elmer.  Help us reach our fundraising target so that Heart of Kent Hospice can continue to provide its specialist advice, support and outstanding care, now and for another 30 years.
